I became very interested in Yoga and Energy medicine from a young age, as I had the fortune of being able to know Baba Hari Das, a great Yogi who resided in Watsonville CA. He taught me yoga since I was 5 years old , which lead to my interest in energy medicine. I became a certified Yoga Instructor through the Ashtanga Institute of Mt. Madonna center by the age of 21 and started teaching.
I love that we can build our “qi” - life force, life energy, with increased air and smooth flow of our blood. That is what the ancient exercise therapy of Tai Chi and Qigong along with Yoga do. Please browse my other Substack’s for my Yoga video and Acupressure for Yoga that I made to assist in fertility.
Tai Chi and Qigong (also known as Chi Kung) are integral components of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), offering a holistic approach to health and well-being. These practices are centered on cultivating the flow of Qi (energy) throughout the body to restore balance, harmony, and vitality. Both forms involve slow, mindful movements, controlled breathing, and meditation, which help to enhance the body's natural healing processes.
In the context of fertility, Tai Chi and Qigong can be particularly beneficial for both men and women. They work by promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving circulation, all of which are essential for reproductive health. For women, these practices help balance hormones, regulate the menstrual cycle, and improve blood flow to the reproductive organs, which may support conception. For men, Tai Chi and Qigong can improve the quality of sperm and enhance overall vitality, which is crucial for fertility.
Dr. Shasta Ericson's QiYoga’s for Fertility and Common Ailments program integrates the ancient wisdom of Tai Chi and Qigong with modern approaches to health. By incorporating gentle movements, breathwork, and focused intention, QiYogas fosters an environment of healing that can boost fertility and address common ailments. Whether you're looking to support your reproductive health or improve overall wellness, these time-honored practices offer a powerful way to enhance vitality and fertility.
By embracing the art of Tai Chi and Qigong, individuals can tap into the healing potential of the body, helping to restore balance, reduce stress, and boost fertility in a natural, mindful way.
I help women get pregnant, stay pregnant and have healthy babies. If I can be of assistance to you or anyone you know, please share this Substack.
